	The college has been started on July 31,1974 by Ex M.L.A., Social worker, prominent labor leader Late Shri R.K.Sharma, Ex. President Shramdham Sewa Sansthan. The college is situated nearby Everest Industries Ltd, Kymore, which is a small Nagar Panchayat and away about 42 KM from Katni Railway Station. The college has Arts, Commerce, Science, and Education Faculties. The college was started to fulfill the need of higher education to the dependents of workers and agricultural labors who reside in nearby villages. The college started B.Ed. in 2005-06 by obtaining permission from N.C.T.E. It has sports facility, N.S.S., Adult education and Red Ribbon Club. The college has been accredited by NAAC in 2007 and awarded by ‘B’ Grade. There is a big campus & all infrastructure facilities are available. Alumni association also has been established in the college since 2007.
